A 24 hour eviction notice is an order a tenant is obliged to follow after the court grants an eviction in a case filed by the landlord against the tenant. After a court grants a writ of possession, a tenant must vacate the premises within 24 hours. Failing to comply will result in the landlord seeking police intervention in the removal of the tenant.
